For optimal performance, light all three wicks on your first burn and allow the candle to burn for 3 to 4 hours, ensuring the top layer of wax melts completely to prevent tunneling. On subsequent burns, limit burn time to 4 hours to preserve the candle's longevity. Always keep the wicks trimmed to 1/4 inch to avoid excessive smoke or the wicks falling into the wax. After each use, ensure the wicks are centered to prevent the glass from overheating, as the flame should never come into contact with the glass. As the candle nears the end, leave 1/4 inch of wax unburned and avoid burning for more than 3 hours at a time to prevent the glass from overheating or breaking.
